Welcome to Morocco Balloon. By booking a hot air balloon flight or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. General Information

Morocco Balloon provides hot air balloon flights and related tourism services in Marrakech and surrounding regions.
All flights are operated by certified pilots and follow Moroccan civil aviation regulations.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into binding agreements.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Reservations can be made through our website, phone, or authorized partners.

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required to confirm your booking.

  • Prices are listed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) unless stated otherwise.

  • Morocco Balloon reserves the right to update prices, package inclusions, or offers at any time.

3. Flight Conditions & Weather

Hot air balloon flights are highly dependent on weather.
For safety reasons, Morocco Balloon may:

  • Delay the flight,

  • Change the flight location,

  • Cancel the flight entirely.

If a cancellation is made due to weather or operational considerations, guests will be offered:

  • A free reschedule, or

  • A full refund.

Morocco Balloon is not liable for travel costs, transportation, or accommodation expenses resulting from weather-related cancellations.

4. Passenger Requirements

To ensure maximum safety, all passengers must comply with the following conditions:

  • Minimum age: 6 years old

  • Pregnant women cannot fly

  • Passengers with heart conditions, recent surgeries, severe mobility issues, or anxiety disorders must inform us during booking

  • Maximum weight limits may apply; additional fees may be charged for passengers above a certain weight

Morocco Balloon reserves the right to refuse boarding if a passenger’s condition poses a safety risk.

5. Safety & Conduct

Passengers must follow all instructions given by pilots and crew at all times.
Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in denied boarding without refund.

Forbidden during flights:

  • Smoking

  • Alcohol consumption

  • Dangerous items (weapons, fireworks, sharp objects)

Morocco Balloon is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings carried during the flight.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations by the Customer

  • More than 48 hours before flight: full refund

  • Less than 48 hours before flight: non-refundable

  • No-show on the day of the flight: non-refundable

Cancellations by Morocco Balloon

If Morocco Balloon cancels due to weather or safety reasons, customers may choose:

  • Full refund, or

  • Reschedule at no additional cost

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

7. Liability & Insurance

Morocco Balloon carries all legally required insurance for hot air balloon operations.
However, participation is at your own risk.

Morocco Balloon is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or force majeure

  • Personal injuries resulting from failure to follow crew instructions

  • Damages to personal items (phones, cameras, bags, etc.)

8. Changes to Services

Morocco Balloon reserves the right to:

  • Modify flight routes,

  • Upgrade or replace equipment,

  • Change schedules or meeting points
    based on safety, weather conditions, or operational needs.

9. Photography & Media Usage

By joining our flights, you grant Morocco Balloon permission to use photos or videos taken during the activity for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the flight.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Marrakech.
